Covid-19’s lockdowns have signified a radical re-think for most of us. During 2020 and into 2021, my wife Alison and I began to consider how we might combine our arts practices and in particular how my photography, after a couple of years of shooting her work digitally, could be used to represent it in more exciting and innovative ways using analogue and home-made equipment and techniques. This represents an ongoing exploration of symbiotic processes and how two- and three-dimensional artefacts may begin to complement each other; although digital images are excellent when it comes to the representation of artwork, I am also very keen to work with other artists in a more experimental and collaborative way to produce alternative, unique and striking images.
